Why it matters

Physical first aiders refresh their training, and mental health first aiders deserve the same. How good is that for showing your organisation treats mental and physical health as equals?

For employers, it also means you can feel sure your first aiders are doing the role safely and well.

What you take away

  • A hard copy workbook to support your learning
  • Three years of access to the MHFAider Support App®
  • Ongoing learning, resources and exclusive events
  • A place in the largest MHFAider® community in England
  • Access to the Association of Mental Health First Aiders.

How the course works

  • Short presentations
  • Group discussions
  • Practical workshop activities

I keep groups small (8-14) so I can look after everyone properly while they learn. MHFA England allows up to 20, but smaller groups simply work better.

Online courses run on Zoom:

  • Cameras on, so we can build a proper group feel
  • Message me privately in the chat at any time
  • Opt out of any activity, no questions asked
  • No preparation needed beforehand

It's a handy thing to have in your pocket. It includes:
